A study showed that in Queensland disaster victims have been losing at video poker. The poker players contributed to a season of record loses on poker games. Video poker is prevenlent in clubs and pubs, and that is where many Queensland disaster victims went for a drink , some food, or just a relief from summer disasters. Critics of video poker games in the area point out that million were paid out to citizens in aid, and millions extra were lost on gambling devices. All together hotels and clubs posted that gamblers lost $4.9 million every day between January and March
