In Macau the Official Asia Player of the Year poker events have come to a close. The events were sponsored by online poker room PokerStars. The online poker room is known for creating and running live poker events all around the word. The PokerStars Macau events took place at Casino Grand Lisboa from May 13-15. the Main Event was won by Ion Sang Song, who took home HKD $115,800. Derby Poker Championship

For those who will be attending the Kentucky Derby there will be a chance to play poker with a few poker pros. Phil Hellmuth and Robert Williamson III will be hosting the Derby Poker Championship on May 5th. The event, which will take place at the Louisville Palace Theatre, will be a celebrity poker event to raise money for charity. Poker players will be benefiting Kentucky Harvest: Blessings in a Backpack and the Health and Climate Foundation. Those who wish to play in the poker game must pay $550 and can rebuy and add on for $200 in the first hour of the game.

The highly anticipated India Poker Open will kick off in May. The details of the poker tour have just been announced. The first poker event will start May 12 in Goa while the main event will start on May 14. The final table of the poker game ran 13 hours before wrapping.
