The expected field for the Belmont Stakes has increased to 12 with trainer Todd Pletcher’s announcement that he will enter Interactif in Saturday’s final leg of the Triple Crown. Pletcher was considering entering the 3-year-old colt in a stakes race Friday, but decided to “call an audible” Monday after looking over the other Belmont entries.

Jose Mourinho said Monday he joined Real Madrid due to its “history, its frustrations of recent years and its hopes of winning,” and pledged to build a trophy-winning team with a strong identity during his four years as coach.
