A person familiar with the negotiations says the New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers and Arizona Diamondbacks are nearing agreement on a three-team trade that would send star center fielder Curtis Granderson(notes) from Detroit to New York. The  Yankees would trade right-hander Ian Kennedy(notes) to Arizona, and lefty reliever Phil Coke(notes) and outfield prospect Austin Jackson(notes) to Detroit, the person said on condition of anonymity because the trade was not yet final. Detroit would deal pitcher Edwin Jackson(notes) to the Diamondbacks, and Arizona would send pitchers Max Scherzer(notes) and Daniel Schlereth to the Tigers.
